* Proficiency with fresh ingredients and culinary skills (prepping, hygiene, knife skills)
* Strong leadership and work ethic, with a focus on delivering high standards
* Relentless drive to overcome challenges and improve
* Knowledge of KPIs, decision-making in absence of the Head Chef, and operational considerations
* Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders and build trust
* Understanding of scheduling, forecasting, recruitment, and HR practices
* Proven success in training and developing kitchen teams
