Facilities : Fantastic site facilities including subsidised meals, free car parking and much more The opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Test Equipment Architect specialising in the System Design of Test Equipment (TE) for missile and missile sub systems, plus occasionally missile or weapon system simulators.
Working within the established TE Architecture team, you'll be advising the customer; disseminating the requirement into a system design (by producing an Architecture Design Document) and working to ensure the developed test system meets its system requirements.
You should be able to act as an authority on test equipment aspects to the design teams and the project.
Experience of Test Equipment Design, obtained over multiple projects Knowledge of Test Equipment Software, or software techniques and methods Knowledge of Systems Engineering approaches, ability to spot poor requirements Knowledge of Design For Test aspects, and able to guide and inform the Test Architects/IVLs General knowledge of, and preferably a specialism in one area of the following: Metrology, RF, Digital or Analogue Design, Power electronics, computing, Cyber or FPGA design.
