Year 2 Teacher Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 2 students.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting achievable learning targets.
* Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best practices.
* Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student progress and wellbeing.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.
Year 2 Teacher Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Year 2 or Key Stage 1 in a primary school setting.
* Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to differentiate lessons to meet individual learning needs.
* Commitment to professional development and collaborative teaching.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to working in a team environment.
