Working with other members of the team, ensure the provision and delivery of a first class Ophthalmology service to our patients. The post holder will be given the opportunity to enhance and develop their ophthalmology skills that fit with the needs of the department. The post holder will be responsible to the Lead Consultant for the service in which they are working at any given time.

The job plan will include 8.5 Programmed Activities and 1.5 SPA (for supporting professional activities). This will be subject to the job planning process taking into account the special interest of the successful candidate.
Clinics running will include Eye Emergency clinics
There is no on-call commitment in this post.
