Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Support Assistant at our Homelessness Service, Montague House and The Haven, Bridlington Services

The role of Support Assistant will include:

Providing a high quality, hands on, personalised care and support service
:
Supporting customers to build the confidence they need to gain further independence
:
Encouraging customers to develop their daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and being an active part of the community

Working with colleagues and partner agencies to achieve the best outcome for our customers

Maintaining a safe environment for customers, providing support in accordance with relevant regulations, procedures and practices
Skills and experiences:

You will have previous experience in a similar care and support role, ideally working with vulnerable people

Ability to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to customers whatever their needs

You will be empathetic and non:judgmental with a
positive, 'can:do' attitude

Excellent interpersonal, organisational, listening, communication and time management skills
