Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Business Change Programme Manager to help drive forward our EPiC Lives (Empowering People, Changing Lives) transformation programme, shaping a future where Adult Social Care empowers people, changes lives, strengthens communities and delivers meaningful, lasting change.

As part of our ASC Business Change and Transformation Team, you will play a pivotal role in turning our EPiC Lives ambitions into reality. You will help us build a system that is prevention focused, resilient, sustainable and continuously improving, guided by our pillars of:

Our digital transformation journey is creating a modern, prevention-focused, and accessible adult care system by strengthening pathways, empowering our workforce with the right tools, and enabling people to achieve better, more independent outcomes.

You will bring curiosity, compassion, and purpose driven leadership to help us reimagine how Adult Social Care works today and for the future.

Through your professional curiosity, you will recognise challenges, optimise opportunities, and drive sustainable change with greater efficiency and cost effectiveness, while continuing to deliver improved outcomes for people. Using a system thinking approach, you will lead complex programmes of change and transformation that strengthen integration across health and social care, embed prevention and strengths-based practice, and champion innovative, person-centred design. You will support teams to adopt new ways of working with confidence, ensuring change is not only delivered but truly owned, understood and sustained. We want someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can mobilise quickly and sees opportunity where others see challenge. You’ll turn insight into action, ideas into impact, and ambition into outcomes that make a genuine difference to our workforce, partners and most importantly the people of Rochdale.

Responsibilities and role focus

You will work as part of the ASC Business Change and Transformation Team to turn EPiC Lives ambitions into tangible change. Your work will focus on leading complex change programmes, embedding prevention and strengths-based practice, and strengthening integration across health and social care. You will help ensure change is owned, understood and sustained by teams and stakeholders, and you will mobilise quickly in a dynamic environment.
