Requirements
* Previous experience in a high performing accounts team, preferably in a similar role with a wide breadth of duties but not essential.
* Minimum of two A Levels and three GCSEs or a Level 3 AAT qualification (Or equivalent)
* Must be computer literate with strong Excel skills
* Previous experience of Accounts/ERP systems would be beneficial
* High professional standards - right first time, meeting deadlines, high quality deliverables
* Strong organisation, communication & team-working skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Must have a flexible approach and be willing and able to work additional hours where necessary
* Driven, ambitious individual who wants to pursue a career in accounting
Role and Responsibilities
* Support in the preparation of accurate and timely financial information
* Balance sheet reconciliations and other key controls
* Calculation of accruals and prepayments
* Processing monthly journals
* Supporting the preparation of the year end statutory accounts and audit
* Liaising with key management to provide commentary on management accounts
* Preparation of tax schedules and submissions
* Supply cover within the team as required for annual leave or absence
* Other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required
