Who we are

We are a leading Aerospace recruitment specialist currently supplying pilots, technicians and support staff to airlines, production and maintenance companies in 50+ countries around the world for both temporary assignments and permanent vacancies.
Our total sales were £20m last year and are expected to be significantly increased in 2025.

Who you are

You are a natural salesperson with a proven record of winning business with new customers and developing business with existing clients. You’ll have done this via telephone sales – including cold calling – creating presentations, video conferencing and wherever possible arranging in-person meetings. This industry and our approach are built on establishing and maintaining proper relationships with our customer base, this is not simply a quantity game with a sales script.
We are NOT necessarily looking for previous aerospace and/or recruitment experience, for this position we are prioritising motivation, ambition and confidence.

What we need

Although Excel are already a market leader in aerospace recruitment we aim to increase revenue by up to 50% over the next 24 months. We will achieve this by developing further business in existing markets, mainly UK and EMEA, but also introducing Excel into new markets including Switzerland and the Far East. We’re looking for someone to offer our already highly successful service to more people, in more places. We are not looking for a ‘360 recruiter’ – we need a dedicated salesperson to manage a portfolio of clients. Someone else will find the candidates for you.

What is on offer

As well as a very attractive salary we offer uncapped commission at up to 30% of Gross Profit; a company vehicle or allowance; unlimited overseas travel with a generous expenses policy; unrestricted access to our extensive database and contact network alongside a technical back-office team and market reputation that are second to none.
We don’t set KPIs or targets, we expect you to be able to plan and manage a contact database and your time to deliver the best possible results. And get paid a lot of commission, obviously
