Job Description
Glasgow City Council requires an Assistant Group Manager to join our sustainable Transport Team within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability.
Leading a multi-disciplinary team of professionals, you will oversee an exciting city-wide programme of active travel and public realm projects, ranging from physical infrastructure to mobility services.
Successful candidates must have an in-depth knowledge of NEC contracts, national design standards, best practices, and CDM regulations. A demonstrable track record in managing the delivery of large-scale active travel or public realm projects in a busy urban environment is desirable.
Successful candidates will be based at our Glasgow office and participate in our hybrid working policy. We offer a generous holiday allowance and an average earnings pension scheme. A minimum of HNC/HND or higher qualification in engineering or a relevant discipline is required.
