The Role
As Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring operations are smooth, efficient, and customer-focused. You’ll support the Branch Manager in leading a small, dedicated team while maintaining high standards across stock management, service delivery, and overall branch performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain an accurate, efficient stock control system.
Support the Branch Manager in all aspects of branch operations.
Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve business goals.
Uphold high standards of presentation and organisation in the warehouse and trade counter.
Deliver exceptional service to customers and build strong, long-term relationships.
The Person
Essential:
Hardworking, ambitious, and driven to succeed.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities (both face-to-face and over the phone).
Well-organised with great attention to detail.
A team player who leads by example.
Sound product knowledge within the electrical sector.
Desirable:
Previous sales experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
Good understanding of the Coventry area and local customer base.
