Production Operative – JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic Production operative to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a flexible and adaptable approach with good communication skills to flourish in our fast-paced working environment. This is a physically active role — you will be on your feet for most of the day within the packaging hall, making sure the production line is running smoothly and accurately as it can. Being able to think on the spot and prepare ahead of the next production runs on the line by being prepared/organised.

Start date- ASAP
The role is full-time Monday to Friday 08:30am-16:30pm— may include weekend and/or shift work in the future
Key Accountabilities:
The Production Operative will support the team in the following tasks:
· Under direction of the supervisor/team leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of the operation of the packaging line and adhering to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
· Operating the machine, assemble, dis-assemble, manufacture and move products
· Maintain and monitor the machine to make sure it functions properly
· Conduct quality checks periodically as needed
· Operating the pallet truck to manage incoming and outgoing goods
· Clean down the machine and production hall
· Training and providing support to new operatives on tasks
· Be flexible to be able to complete other Production tasks, such as Rip and Tip or over stickering of product, adhoc clean down of packing hall
· Any other reasonable production related task required
ABOUT YOU
· Extremely organised and takes pride in maintaining processes with accuracy
· Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with all team members and management
· Experience of working in a production line environment
· Adaptable nature and thrives well under pressure
· An eye for detail and accuracy is essential
· Computer skills are desirable for using the computerised Netsuite system or QMS
