The company designs and manufactures complex mechanical system elements including actuators, manifolds, and load cells, offering a technically challenging environment with long-term progression. In this varied role, the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing full manufacturing packages including general assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of materials, while supporting procurement and production processes. You will also take ownership of assigned work packages, acting as a Lead Engineer to manage timelines, resolve design queries, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers. This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in hydraulics or precision engineering, looking to step into a project-focused position with leadership responsibility and the opportunity to work on bespoke, high-spec systems.
