Your new role As a Junior Contracts Assistant, you will work closely with Contracts Managers to support the day-to-day coordination and delivery of engineering projects. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background who wants to gain hands-on experience in project management within a busy and technical environment. Key Responsibilities Work in line with established ISO Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety procedures. Assist in managing multiple M&E projects to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontract services. Prepare CAD drawings as required to support project delivery. Attend site progress meetings alongside Contracts Managers. Lead smaller projects and liaise effectively with internal project teams. Compile, review, and update Operation & Maintenance manuals. Report regularly on project progress, financial performance, risks, and timelines. Provide day-to-day support to site engineers. Ensure all on-site activities comply with current Health & Safety regulations. What you'll need to succeed A formal qualification in a relevant engineering discipline. Previous experience within a Mechanical & Electrical construction-related environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
