Graduate Electrical CAD Technician REF: 2610 Due to continued growth in the business we wish to recruit a Graduate Electrical CAD Technician to work as part of our design team. The successful candidate will join a growing team with senior support and will have the opportunity as their career progresses to acquire a broad range of skills and experience in design. The initial role will include: Working in conjunction with & under the direction of our engineers, the role will predominately involve Electrical & Instrumentation drafting work using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical from Design through to As-Built stage. Create Cable schedules using AutoCAD Electrical. Potential to use Autodesk BIM software & 3D Modeling for more complex projects. Drafting work for Mechanical and Civil drawings may also be required. The successful applicant will receive, in parallel to project work, guidance & training to familiarize them with our company's methodology & standards in relation to the production of our drawings. Training in our BIM/CAD software will also be available where deemed necessary. The location for this role will be in our Antrim office. Requirements: The Candidate. The ideal candidate will have: HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering OR Significant relevant experience Experience using Autodesk Software (AutoCAD Electrical would be beneficial but not essential) 0 2 years experience. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team. Ability to work to agreed timelines and to a high standard. Other information: What we offer.
