About the Role
This varied role is perfect for an experienced housekeeper who enjoys working independently while maintaining exceptional standards. You'll be working for a relaxed yet well-organised family home alongside their two beloved dogs, with opportunities to use your initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping:
* General housekeeping including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, watering plants and changing beds
* Deep cleaning on a rotational basis
* Laundry and wardrobe care – washing, ironing, folding, and organising clothes and linens
* Day-to-day home organisation and tidying
Dog Care & Support:
* Supporting with care their two dogs, including weekday and occasional weekend walks
* Occasional dog sitting when the family are away
* Ensuring dogs are fed and have cuddles during your shifts
Household Management:
* Occasional light meal preparation – preparing simple, healthy meals when needed
* Running errands, including grocery shopping and post office trips
* Occasional PA support, such as taking calls and messages, scheduling appointments, coordinating deliveries and liaising with contractors or service providers
* Occasional light gardening and outdoor area maintenance
Please note: While there is an older child in the household, no childcare responsibilities are required.
Essential Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years' housekeeping experience in private homes
* Full, clean UK driving licence with own reliable transport
* Right to work in the UK
* Basic DBS check (arranged by employer)
