How you’ll power our business as an EC&I Technician
As an EC&I Technician, you will support the installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems while developing the technical skills and hands-on experience needed to work independently across a range of industrial environments.
Travel requirements around the UK are part of this role and candidates must be flexible to accommodate this.
Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. What we’ll need from you
* Basic understanding of PLC functioning
* Basic understanding of installation and commissioning of Hazardous Area Electrical systems.
* Understanding of instrument calibration, Inspection and Testing of a wide range of instrumentation: Pressure, level, flow, temperature (Analogue & Digital)
* Basic understanding of engineering documentation (Functional Design Specification (FDS), User Requirements Specification (URS)
* Experience on IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel & Office.
* Committed, persuasive and personable with fluent written and verbal communication skills
* Good fault finding and problem-solving skills
