Are you ready to make a difference? We’re on the lookout for passionate Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic Southern Water team based in Falmer and Chatham. This is your chance to be part of an exciting £3.1bn Strategic Development Partnership with Southern Water, where your contributions will help shape meaningful water infrastructure projects.
Location & Working Conditions
Our positions are based in:

Falmer / Chatham - with remote working options available
* 3 days per week on-site
* Full-time hours: 40 hours per week (flexible options available including condensed working, part-time, or job share)

Your Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our Commercial team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Managing project finances, including preparing applications for payment and monitoring costs
* Building strong relationships with subcontractors and clients to ensure smooth financial processes
* Supporting procurement activities and providing commercial evaluations
* Identifying changes and assisting with Change Control procedures
* Ensuring all contractual notifications are accurately in place
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You have experience with NEC contracts with Target Costs
* You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy building relationships
* You have a background in the construction, water, or civil infrastructure sectors
* You are comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* You possess strong communication skills and enjoy engaging with clients
