What will I be doing?
* Own the vision, roadmap and direction for Jira, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs and organisational priorities.
* Translate business requirements into prioritised outcomes, epics and configurations, balancing value, risk and feasibility.
* Design, configure and govern Jira projects, workflows, boards, permissions and standards to enable consistent ways of working.
* Act as the primary point of contact and escalation for Jira change requests, complex queries and platform decisions.
* Engage stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, run workshops, champion best practice and drive adoption.
* Deliver insight and assurance through dashboards, reporting, KPIs, UAT and governance to ensure data quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
What do I need?
* Proven experience administering Jira in a medium to large organisation, including complex configurations and governance.
* Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and how Jira supports them.
* Experience with the wider Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira Service Management and Confluence.
* Ability to design and configure workflows, schemes, permissions, dashboards and reports to meet business needs.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and requirements-gathering skills, balancing team flexibility with platform standards.
* Experience with large-scale Jira implementations or Cloud environments, with knowledge of automation, integrations or APIs beneficial.
