Skills:

* Awareness of techniques necessary to support individual learning needs and development. (Essential)
Experience:
* Previous experience of working within an educational setting. (Essential)
* Ability to use resources and materials including ICT software and equipment. (Essential)
* Working knowledge or willingness to build knowledge of safeguarding procedures, behaviour management practices, health and safety legislation relevant to working with students, and other regulatory policies related to education. (Essential)
* Knowledge and understanding of the statutory framework in supported subject areas and phases. (Essential)
* Experience of working with children with special educational needs. (Desirable)
