Our Administration Team is seeking a Client Support Tax Administrator. We have a full time role in our Newark or Sleaford Office. You will will provide a quality administration service to support our client delivery teams and to achieve service line targets.
Your responsibilities
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
* Assisting managers run a tax return portfolio
* Support the client delivery teams and all offices in all administrative and day to day operational matters, working collaboratively with colleagues across the whole team. These may include managing meeting rooms, looking after facilities, coordination of team meetings, coordination of diaries for Managers, Associates and Directors for client meetings, supporting events, filing and other tasks as required.
* Cover the reception area which will include greeting clients
* Ensure all work within the tax typing pool is properly scheduled and delivered on time
* Manage your workflow and client expectations
* Developing working relationships with clients, including gather information required in a timely manner
* Support client managers with management of costs on client assignments and timely billing, including WIP review
* Oversee processes with HMRC, such as 64-8, submission of tax returns and any queries that may arise on client account
* Administer the client take on, maintenance and disengagement procedures, ensuring relevant form are completed per standard operating procedures (SOPs), letters are issued, and systems are kept up to date
* Arrange timely submission of returns to HMRC, including assisting with management of the job stages on practice management for filing deadlines and submissions
About you
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:
* Strong IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, essentially within outlook and word
* Effective organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Production of accurate and timely work within your service line
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to work effectively as part of a wider team
* Developing understanding of data protection requirements
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Flexible to travel to other offices to cover when needed
