About the Role:
As a Music Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that nurture children’s musical abilities, encourage self-expression, and support academic progress. You will work closely with colleagues to create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Responsibilities of a Music Teacher:
* Teaching music across Key Stages in line with the school curriculum.
* Creating engaging, practical, and inspiring lessons to foster a love of music.
* Preparing pupils for school concerts, performances, and assemblies.
* Supporting individual progress and building pupils’ confidence.
* Working collaboratively with staff and parents to ensure pupil success.
* Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Music Teacher Requirements:
* QTS or a recognised teaching qualification in Music or a related subject.
* Previous teaching experience in music across different key stages.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A genuine passion for music and the ability to inspire creativity in young learners.
* Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
