<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>The Trainer/Assessor delivers high-quality training and assessment to learners undertaking Health and Social Care qualifications, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required to meet industry standards.</p><p>The role involves both classroom-based delivery and workplace assessment across residential and domiciliary care settings.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Deliver engaging and effective training sessions in Health and Social Care (Adult Care, Level 3 and below). Delivering care standards certificate and induction, manual handling and emergency first aid.</li><li>Conduct workplace assessments and observations to evaluate learners’ competence and progress.</li><li>Support, guide, and motivate learners to achieve their qualifications within agreed timeframes.</li><li>Develop and adapt learning materials to meet diverse learner needs.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of learner progress, assessments, and compliance documentation.</li><li>Ensure training delivery meets awarding body and regulatory standards.</li><li>Liaise with employers, managers, and external verifiers to ensure smooth assessment processes.</li><li>Promote best practices in adult care, safeguarding, and person-centred approaches.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications and Experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential and/or domiciliary adult care.</li><li>Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent qualification in Health & Social Care).</li><li>Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET).</li><li>Strong communication, organisational, and mentoring skills.</li><li>Commitment to supporting learner development and maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Must be a driver.</li></ul></div>
