How you’ll make an impact: We are looking for a commercially minded and intellectually curious Manager to lead key programmes within our Market Insights function. This is a pivotal role sitting at the intersection of customer intelligence, market positioning and competitive strategy. You will own and evolve our customer insights programme — including a structured Win/Loss interview initiative — to ensure the business has a clear, evidence-based understanding of why we win, why we lose, and where the greatest market opportunities lie. Your role in action: Customer Insights Programme Leadership Own and continuously develop the end-to-end customer insights strategy, ensuring it delivers actionable intelligence across the business. Design, manage and expand a scalable Win/Loss interview programme: build the methodology, define the cadence, recruit participants, conduct or oversee interviews, and synthesise findings into compelling narratives. Translate and combine qualitative and quantitative insights into clear strategic recommendations for senior leadership, product, sales, operations and marketing teams. Champion the voice of the customer across the organisation, embedding insights into key decision-making processes and business reviews. Market and Competitive Intelligence Lead ongoing monitoring and analysis of travel industry trends, customer behaviour shifts, and competitor positioning. Produce regular market intelligence reports and briefings that inform business and product strategy, market positioning, and go-to-market planning. Identify white-space opportunities and emerging threats, providing well-reasoned recommendations to leadership teams. Research Tools and Subscriptions Oversee relationships with external research agencies and data partners, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and strategic relevance. Develop insight-sharing mechanisms (research hub, dashboards, AI mining tools) to build organisational insight literacy. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Act as a trusted strategic partner to Product Marketing, Marketing, Commercial and Emerging Business teams, proactively surfacing relevant insights before they are asked for. Present findings to senior and executive stakeholders in a clear, persuasive, and commercially contextualised manner. Could this be you? Proven experience within a market or customer insights function, ideally within B2B, travel, hospitality, or a related industry. Demonstrable track record designing and running Win/Loss or Voice of Customer programmes, including conducting executive-level interviews. Strong grounding in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Segmentation and persona creation a plus. Experience synthesising complex data sets into clear, decision-ready narratives. Proficiency with research tools, CRM data, and insight platforms. Skills & Attributes Exceptional listening and interviewing skills — able to build trust quickly and draw out candid, nuanced perspectives from customers and prospects. Outstanding written and verbal communication; able to distil complexity into crisp executive narratives. Strong presentation skills with the confidence and gravitas to communicate findings to senior leadership and C-suite audiences, adapting style and depth to the room. Commercially astute, with an ability to connect insights to revenue and growth implications. Highly collaborative and influential, with the confidence to challenge assumptions with data. Organised and delivery-focused, able to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Intellectually curious with a genuine passion for understanding customer behaviour. Desirable Experience working with B2B travel buyers, TMCs (Travel Management Companies), or OTAs. Understanding of GDS systems, NDC, or the broader travel technology landscape. -Where do we start!
