About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance, Facilities, or Engineering Manager to join a globally renowned manufacturer and service provider. In this autonomous role, you will oversee maintenance, operational, and facilities processes, leading diverse projects and initiatives.
You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, scheduling, and quality of maintenance operations across the site, acting as the technical authority in maintenance matters. This position offers the opportunity to impact maintenance strategies directly and to implement effective systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the Maintenance Operations Department to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
* Develop and implement new processes and standards across the organization.
* Manage facilities, maintenance works, and scheduling.
* Ensure health & safety compliance and standards.
Candidate Requirements
* Management experience overseeing teams of engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
* Experience with maintenance scheduling, process development, and FM software.
* Located within commuting distance of Colchester, Ipswich, Clacton-on-Sea, Braintree, Felixstowe, or surrounding areas.
