Financial Controller
Location: South west England
Reports to: MD
Robert Half are delighted to support an exciting, growing company looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to lead day-to-day finance operations and drive performance in a dynamic retail sector SME. You'll oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and risk management, while providing strategic insights to support growth.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
* Manage cash flow, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation.
* Produce accurate monthly management accounts.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
* Partner with senior leaders to deliver data-driven insights.
* Drive, experience and motivation to contribute to growth plans
* Evaluate existing systems and processes and deliver improvements.
About you:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent) or QBE.
* Proven senior finance leadership experience.
* Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership skills.
* Proficient in financial systems and stakeholder management.
Package
Salary £65,000 - £80,000 + Bonus
Hybrid, flexible working - 3-4 days onsite, 1-2 days remote
