Mobile Cleaner
Location: Various Sites Across Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT)
Employment Type: Temporary (16th June 2025 – 31st July 2025)
Hours: 37 hours per week (Split Shifts: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM, Monday to Friday)
Pay: PAYE £12.85/hour | Umbrella £16.32/hour
Are you a reliable and flexible individual with a passion for maintaining clean, safe environments? Network Recruitment Wales is seeking a dedicated Mobile Cleaner to join a dynamic team of two in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT) for a temporary role from 16th June to 31st July 2025, covering peak workloads, staff vacancies, sickness, and annual leave.
What You’ll Do:
1. Clean various buildings and schools across RCT, including toilets, kitchens, offices, corridors, classrooms, staff rooms, communal areas, and indoor sports/changing areas.
2. Sanitise surfaces, toilets, sinks, hand dryers, cubicles, pipework, and worktops.
3. Hoover, sweep, mop floors, and clean skirting boards, window sills, and hard furnishings.
4. Empty waste bins and operate cleaning equipment (e.g., scrubber dryers, where provided).
5. Perform occasional specialised deep cleaning, including properties with hoarding or unique circumstances (details provided at interview).
6. Act as a key holder to access or secure buildings as needed.
7. Drive a works van (provided) as part of a two-person team, sharing driving responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For:
8. Essential: Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to drive a small works van.
9. Essential: Must live in RCT due to shared driving, variable workloads, and potential emergency work.
10. Essential: Clean and tidy appearance
11. Essential: You must have an enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the update service
12. Desirable: Basic experience with cleaning equipment and caretaking/cleaning tasks.
13. Expertise: Practical skills and knowledge of safe operation of cleaning and laundry equipment.
14. Flexible attitude to work split shifts (mornings and late afternoons) and adapt to changing workloads.
15. Team player, comfortable working in a pair and handling varied cleaning tasks.
