Project Manager – Software Implementations
Location
: Northampton (Hybrid, 2 days a week)
Salary:
Up to £65,000 (depending on experience) + 20% bonus
We are seeking a talented
Project Manager
to drive the end-to-end delivery of software projects within a complex and fast-moving environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong stakeholder management, rigorous planning, and the ability to land change successfully across business and technology functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of
off-the-shelf software implementation projects
from inception through to completion.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology to ensure buy-in and successful adoption.
* Prepare business and technology teams for change through structured planning, forecasting, and communication.
* Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery against agreed time, cost, and quality.
* Operate within governance frameworks, producing required documentation and clear reporting.
* Close projects effectively, ensuring lessons learned and business readiness are embedded.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing
software implementation projects
* Background in
fast-paced, matrixed environments
where priorities can shift quickly.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior colleagues.
* Strong communication skills, able to bring clarity to complex change.
* Experience working with both
Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches

* Strong organisational, risk management, and problem-solving capabilities.
* Desirable: Knowledge of
financial services or payments
would be a strong advantage.
