We are looking for a full time Support Worker to join our passionate team, working alongside nurses, doctors, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, family therapists, and dieticians, to make a real difference.
Cotswold House Marlborough is a 12 bedded mixed gender ward which offers inpatient and day patient treatment to adults with an eating disorder.
We have a skilful and dedicated MDT team including nurses and HCAs, and within this team you will be directly involved in the assessment, care planning, and delivery of treatment. Each patient has a dedicated care team whom works closely alongside colleagues to support the individual patient. You will also assist in other ward and team duties as directed by the registered nurse.
Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Assist in delivering a high standard of holistic care to patients and their families/carers in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
* Contribute to and interpret care plans accurately and consistently
* Normalise appropriate eating behaviours by role modelling and supporting patients at snack and meal times.
* Carry out delegated care tasks such as escort duty and assist with patient daily living activities
