We are seeking a Regional Sales Director / Operations Director to oversee approximately £80 million P&L across the North-West of England. The ideal candidate will demonstrate collaborative leadership, strategic insight, and possess a balanced sales and operations background.
Basic Salary:
£110,000 - £130,000 + 30% STIP

Job Description:
As Regional Sales Director / Operations Director, you will direct the operational and strategic course for your region, ensuring smooth operations and driving growth. The role requires a dynamic leader with strong commercial acumen, capable of implementing strategies, leading process improvements, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage commercial operations of 4-6 depot locations, circa £80 million P&L with £30 million EBITDA.
2. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7-10 direct and indirect colleagues, focusing on people development and succession planning.
3. Implement sales strategies to achieve profitable growth with key clients, including major construction contractors.
4. Promote a safety-first culture, leading transformational change emphasizing safety, service, quality, and cost management.
5. Operate effectively within a high-demand environment, delivering performance under pressure.
Person Specification:
Alignment with our values is essential, including ownership, accountability, results-driven approach, and safety focus. You should demonstrate:
* Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or similar environment, such as construction, food, automotive, pharmaceuticals, preferably within larger corporations.
* Leadership of 5-10 direct and 60+ indirect team members.
* Visible, approachable management style with strong knowledge and accountability.
* Control of a £20 million+ P&L with a focus on profitable growth.
* Experience with continuous improvement, transformational change, and M&A integration.
