Lead Clinician
Location: Ashley Park School, Epsom, Surrey, KT18 7LR
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 depending on experience, plus a welcome bonus of £3,000 (£1,500 after one month and £1,500 after probation).
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent (flexible around full-time contracts if needed)
About the Role
You will manage our in‑house clinical team at a specialist day school supporting young people aged 8–16 with autism and other neurodivergence. Working collaboratively with senior leadership and the regional clinical lead, you will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for complex profiles, manage the line‑management of the clinical team, and lead on service development.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinically lead the team and maintain a therapeutic caseload focusing on complex autism, trauma, and social‑emotional needs.
* Deliver specialist assessment and intervention plans aligned to EHCP plans and group/individual clinical pathways.
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical staff and support the development of the clinical school‑based service.
* Collaborate with multi‑professional teams and embed safeguarding culture within all settings.
* Champion innovative approaches to enhance pupil quality of life and outcomes.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy or Speech and Language Therapy.
* Valid registration and membership of HC & RCOT.
* Experience working with autistic individuals and complex needs.
* Clear, concise report writing for clinical and research activities.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing service.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with designated specialty preferred.
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
