Your role As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in producing and issuing drawings for Fire Safety documents, operational risk plans, and fire investigation reports under Fire Prevention legislation. The team The Business Support Team is a small but busy hub within the Fire and Rescue Service, providing essential administrative and operational support. You’ll have the chance to get involved in a wide range of activities, from supporting community events like Open Days and the County Show to collaborating with teams across the organisation. Based at Endeavour House, you’ll also be within the catchment area of Ipswich Princes Street on-call crew if you wish to explore operational response opportunities. We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options and alternative locations, in line with Suffolk County Council policy.
