In 2023, 67% of this school's students in year 11 achieved five or more GCSE 9-4 grades, including at least a 4 in English and a 4 in Mathematics. Progress was also strong. At A level in 2023, 44% of grades were at AB. Similarly, high levels were achieved in Level 3 BTEC qualifications. The school also offers a flourishing Sixth Form with a wide range of courses at A level, as well as vocational level 2 and 3 courses. The school wishes to appoint an ambitious, talented, innovative Teacher of Design and Technology in their Expressive Arts Faculty, who is committed to raising achievement and who has the capacity to make a real contribution to the work of a supportive and continually improving school. A Design and Technology Teacher with a specialism in product design / resistant materials. An ability to teach across all disciplines would be desirable at KS3, but not essential. Candidates must be able to teach across all age and ability ranges.
