Role: Process Technician (Shift-Based) Location: Motherwell (Dovecote Road) & Stirling, Scotland Hours: Full-time, rotating shifts Pay: £18.00 - £18.78 per hour PAYE basic (excluding holiday pay) or £24.13 - £25.17 per hour Umbrella (including holiday pay) 12-Month Contract (Inside IR35) An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Process Technician to join a leading organisation on a 12-month contract (Inside IR35). This is a shift-based position covering two sites in Scotland: the Motherwell (Dovecote Road) facility and the Stirling site. Benefits: * 12-month contract inside IR35 * Competitive hourly rates (PAYE or Umbrella) * Weekly pay * 25 days holiday per annum bank holidays * Full training and ongoing development in a regulated manufacturing environment Shift Pattern: Early Shift: * Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 14:15 Back Shift: * Monday - Thursday: 14:00 - 22:00 * Friday: 14:00 - 20:45 The Requirements: * Previous experience as a Process Technician or Production Technician * Experience within a regulated environment (medical devices preferred) * Strong problem-solving ability and a logical approach to diagnosing issues * Good computer literacy, including MS Office and Excel * Understanding of GMP and quality compliance standards * Experience analysing production data and conducting product/process testing * Excellent documentation and reporting skills * A team player who takes accountability and works well under pressure * Desirable: Process Excellence Green/Black Belt, degree-level qualification, experience with rotary converting or reel-to-reel printing The Role: * Work closely with manufacturing operators and engineering teams across both sites * Become highly skilled in production line operation, processes and procedures * Monitor production and process data using statistical analysis techniques * Diagnose and troubleshoot process or product issues quickly and effectively * Conduct CTQ testing and perform material and product analysis * Investigate non-conformances and support the development of corrective and preventative actions * Assist with validation activities and complete supporting documentation * Support the transfer of pilot production work into high-volume manufacturing * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across shift teams * Ensure the highest levels of quality, GMP compliance, and productivity at all times If you're keen to join a forward-thinking organisation within a fast-paced engineering and production environment, then please apply to this Process Technician role below or call Chloe McCausland on 01273 063769 between 8:30am - 5:00pm.
