Your new role
* Provide comprehensive support to the legal team, including client interaction, task management, research, and relationship building with clients, experts, counsel, and other legal professionals.
* Adapt quickly to new and emerging areas of law, contributing to a wide variety of cases.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience in criminal law at a reputable firm.
* Police station accreditation.
* Strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation abilities.
* Proactive and responsible attitude, with the ability to react to developing situations.
* Professional presentation and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with diverse clients and professionals.
* Confident verbal communication and effective telephone manner.
* Advanced legal research and excellent written communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new IT systems.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of anti-money laundering regulations, criminal financing, and bribery and corruption legislation.
* Experience preparing interviews under caution and/or regulatory interviews.
* Experience working to financial/time targets.
* Business development experience, including networking, contributing to publications/blogs, and organising events.
* Familiarity with cutting-edge IT and legal tech, including AI skills.
* Proficiency in a second language.
