About the Role
As the Delivery Platform & Communications Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations across all our delivery partners (Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats), while also driving sales growth by converting our strong fan following into orders through smart communications and targeted campaigns.
This is an on-site position, requiring you to work directly from our delivery locations to stay close to operations, check in with our Group Head Chef on food quality, and ensure our customer experience is consistently excellent.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Management & Operations
· Act as the main point of contact with Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats, ensuring smooth operations, service alignment, and quick resolution of issues.
· Coordinate the delivery of stock across all London sites, working closely with the central production unit and each location to ensure consistent availability.
· Work on-site across our delivery locations, regularly checking in with the Group Head Chef to maintain food quality standards and address operational issues in real time.
· Oversee delivery drivers: coordinating schedules, managing queries, and tracking performance to guarantee efficient, timely deliveries.
Supply & Supplier Coordination
· Manage all supplier orders alongside the Head Chef, including monitoring stock levels, reviewing usage history and placing replenishment orders. Monitoring out-of-stock products on our menu.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating to secure the best value and offers for the business.
Customer Experience & Data Insights
· Proactively monitor and resolve customer complaints, including disputes and refunds, to maintain high customer satisfaction.
· Collect and analyse performance data across all platforms, delivering actionable insights to optimise sales and identify growth opportunities.
Communications, Campaigns & Sales Conversion
· Develop and manage promotional strategies across delivery platforms, including price-led campaigns and dynamic promotions.
· Act as a communications lead, driving app engagement through targeted messaging and campaigns that convert our East London target audience into paying customers.
· Create and deliver marketing communications that reflect the Bang Bang voice, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms and campaigns.
· Leverage insights into local demographics and customer behaviour to tailor promotions and outreach efforts, strengthening our presence in East London and boosting conversion rates.
Requirements
Business management professional with a degree in Business Management that has proven ability to drive revenue and operational performance by owning end-to-end sales delivery - strategy, forecasting, key-account growth and on-time fulfilment.
· Proven experience in delivery operations, supplier coordination, or customer service management.
· Strong understanding of communications and marketing strategy – not just social media, but end-to-end campaign planning and execution.
· Familiarity with food delivery platforms (Deliveroo, Just Eat, Uber Eats).
· Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident in representing the brand to external partners.
· Confidence handling customer communications
· Skilled in troubleshooting delivery platform issues including menu faults with rapid corrections, device malfunctions, equipment replacement and coordination with delivery partner technicians to ensure uninterrupted service.
· Availability to work on-site at our delivery locations (45 hours per week).
· Bonus: In-depth knowledge of East London's food scene, cultural landscape and customer base, with the ability to translate local insights into growth strategies.
