Job Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, which makes you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
* Dealing with emergency services on behalf of our customers, protecting lives.
* Handling varied tasks such as installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters for homes and businesses.
* Conducting high-rise and gas safety regulation surveys, fitting cooker safety valves.
Experience and Qualifications
We’re looking for excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You must have either a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification to apply.
A MET1 qualification is beneficial but not essential. Experience working within a gas environment, including knowledge of gas appliances, testing, purging, and commissioning pipework, is important.
An understanding of Standards, Legislation, Codes of Practice, and Health and Safety is required, along with a full UK driving licence. Pride, purpose, quick thinking, and ownership are qualities we value.
