Midday Support Assistant required to join the team in an Upminster School supporting children with Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs during their lunchtime period of the day. The Midday Support Assistant role would be perfect for someone wanting to gain furthur experience within a school setting and to work school hours around family life. To start as soon as possible Monday – Friday 2 hours a day with potential of being offered extra hours (Term time only) Midday Support Assistant Role: * Assist the children during the lunchtime period to ensure a safe and happy play as 1-1 support. * Supervising the children whilst eating at meal times, being mindful of their dietary requirements and ensure they are adhered to accordingly. * Monitor the behaviour of the children, discouraging any negative behaviour in a positive way and ensuring any incidents are reported as appropiate. * Happy to assist with medical, physical and personal care if and when needed. * Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
