Your work will keep the business moving by ensuring processes run smoothly, people feel supported, and the working environment is safe, organised, and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Admin Support
* Support Sales teams with administrative tasks (including placing orders on systems).
* Manage visitor sign‑ins and provide a warm welcome.
* Handle incoming and outgoing post.
* Provide ad‑hoc support to Directors: meeting planning, admin, expenses, travel booking.
Facilities & Buildings
* Respond promptly to building or facilities issues.
* Book and coordinate contractors as needed.
* Source contractors for maintenance or improvement projects.
People/HR & Recruitment Support
* Support with managing enquiries into the People Team, directing to relevant colleagues.
* Support with recruitment, interview scheduling, interview preparations and job offers.
* Oversee the expenses process, ensuring compliance with policies and correct approvals.
Purchasing & Ordering
* Manage all purchasing requests within the People Team inbox.
* Seek approvals from the People Director and place orders with relevant suppliers.
* Book travel and accommodation for Sales teams and Directors.
* Manage office supplies and source new suppliers, maintaining competitive rates.
Health & Safety
* Arrange and support company Health & Safety audits.
* Coordinate all servicing and maintenance visits (fire equipment, alarms, PAT testing, warehouse vehicles, company vehicles, etc.).
* Keep all H&S records and periodic checklists up to date.
* Work with teams across the business to maintain accurate safety documentation.
Internal Communications
* Post updates to Teams channels.
* Draft internal emails for updates on company policies, benefits, or changes.
* Prepare the quarterly team newsletter.
* Create internal communications for social activities and events (e.g., posters, notices).
Company Events
* Plan quarterly socials, office activities, and team events.
* Book venues, track attendance, and liaise with suppliers.
* Support Marketing or Sales teams with event planning and assist on the day.

Hours & Pay
* 37.5 hour week, worked 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
* Annual Salary – £27,000.00.
* Office based, permanent, full time.
* Reports to People Director.
