Responsibilities include: Support children with their learning across the curriculum Deliver small-group and one to one interventions, especially for those with SEND, EAL or behavioural needs Encourage independence and positive behaviour Prepare engaging learning materials and resources Track and record progress, supporting classroom planning Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families Be an advocate for every child’s success and well-being What We’re Looking For: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with young people, especially in an educational setting A positive, proactive, and patient attitude A strong understanding of safeguarding and a genuine passion for supporting children Additional training or experience in SEND, EAL, behaviour support, or first aid Familiarity with digital learning tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams) Confidence in supporting learning across a range of subjects At Oasis, every individual is valued.
