The Opportunity Trócaire’s Fundraising and Engagement function in NI sits within the Ireland Division and is a key driver of the income required to sustain our international work overseas. As the Fundraising and Volunteers Assistant you will support the Fundraising and Engagement Officer by providing logistical support for key fundraising campaigns, coordinating outreach visit schedules and liaising with key stakeholders such as volunteers, third party suppliers and occasionally, guest speakers and overseas visitors to the region. You will also support the development of our growing volunteer programme in the region. This is an interesting and varied role for a skilled, experienced administrator who has strong communication skills and great attention to detail. You will be based in our Belfast office and required to attend the office a minimum of one day per week with the option to apply for hybrid working on the other days. Requirements We are looking for someone with at least two years administration and/or fundraising experience who has an enthusiastic and positive approach to their work and the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as demonstrable knowledge of basic IT packages, especially Excel, are essential.
