We’re on the lookout for a talented Fire & Security Installation / Small Works Engineer to join our expanding team. The Role You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, and commissioning of a range of fire and security systems. Working predominantly on commercial and retail sites—including petrol stations and motorway services—you’ll ensure systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities * Install, service, and commission fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems * Diagnose faults and carry out effective troubleshooting * Complete all documentation and reports accurately and promptly * Liaise professionally with clients and uphold high standards of customer service * Ensure all work complies with current health and safety regulations * Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays as required What We’re Looking For * Minimum 4 years’ experience in fire and security system installations * Competent across multiple disciplines: fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * A flexible, can-do attitude with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail * Full UK driving licence * Relevant industry qualifications (preferred but not essential—training will be provided) What’s in It for You * Competitive salary (based on experience) * 28 days holiday plus your birthday off, rising to 31 days after 3 years’ service * Company pension scheme * Regular team socials and events * Ongoing training and genuine career progression opportunities If you're an experienced and proactive Fire & Security Engineer ready for your next challenge, we want to hear from you.
