We’re looking for a Director of Delivery Operations to join us on our journey. Ready to dive in and stir things up?
What we need:
You will lead and be accountable for optimising our out-of-restaurant (OOR) and delivery operations, driving operational excellence at regional, area, and restaurant levels. Working closely with cross-functional teams including technology, marketing, commercial, and operations, this role will design strategies to improve speed, order accuracy, and operational efficiencies, ultimately influencing overall profitability.
What you’ll do:
1. Develop and implement a scalable, efficient delivery operations strategy aligned with the overall commercial strategy, ensuring brand standards and guest expectations are met.
2. Improve restaurant workflows and kitchen operations to reduce errors, increase speed, and ensure order accuracy.
3. Analyze operational delivery metrics, including fulfillment and speed, and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Oversee and collaborate with the technology team across POS, KDS, and delivery technology integrations to maintain and improve seamless technology performance.
5. Manage a team of 3 delivery and out-of-restaurant business partners, ensuring synergy across all regions.
6. Partner with key stakeholders to build, maintain, and evolve training plans for best-in-class out-of-restaurant operations management.
7. Explore innovative solutions to operational problems or bottlenecks and own the trial processes.
8. Distribute weekly operational KPIs to support overall commercial and business performance, providing actionable insights.
9. Work with aggregator operational teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from order to fulfillment.
What you’ll need:
* 5+ years of experience in senior delivery or operations leadership roles.
* Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
* Background in QSR, fast casual, or multi-brand hospitality groups.
* Deep understanding of third-party delivery platforms.
* Analytically minded, interested in data-driven decision making.
* Strong understanding of back-office systems within the ordering process.
* Excellent project management skills, able to deploy teams and manage time efficiently.
* Ability to focus on details while maintaining a strategic overview, prioritizing efforts for maximum impact.
