About the Role Are you a commercially minded problem-solver with a knack for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions? We have a high-impact opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Business Solutions team. This is a senior-level position designed to serve as the crucial link between our operational data and on-the-ground execution. You won't just be documenting requirements; you will be evaluating, streamlining, and revolutionising how our departments functionfrom logistics and commercial to customer service. You will have high visibility across the business, working closely with Director-level sponsors to deliver scalable, effective improvements. What youll be doing: Elicit & Document Requirements: Lead workshops and interviews with senior stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and manage complex business and system requirements. Process Engineering: Create detailed "as-is" and "to-be" process maps (using BPMN, Visio, or similar) to identify bottlenecks and design smarter, more efficient workflows. Technical Translation: Act as the primary translator between our commercial/operational staff and our technical development teams, ensuring everyone understands the commercial impact of technical processes. Solution Design, Rollout & Testing: Work closely with Architects and Developers on the solution and assist with system testing and ensure that the final technical output matches the original business request. Impact Tracking: Measure and report on the commercial impact of implemented changes against key operational KPIs and ROI targets. What were looking for: Experience: Proven experience in a Business Analysis or Process Improvement role, ideally within a fast-paced e-commerce or retail environment. Technical Savvy: A strong understanding of data structures and databases (SQL knowledge for reading and writing queries is a huge bonus). Logical Mindset: A highly analytical and logical approach with a passion for taking things apart to see how they work. Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and explain complex data in plain, jargon-free English. Methodology: Familiarity with Agile or Lean Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
