We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and data-driven Site Manager to lead the growth of Freebets.com, a prominent UK sports betting affiliate website.
This role involves leading content, SEO, and brand strategies to establish Freebets.com as a trusted, recognizable brand among sports bettors, providing expert advice on betting options. You will collaborate across teams—CRO, Product, Design, PR, Social, and Email—to enhance authority, relevance, and conversions at all user touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the site vision and roadmap, focusing on content, SEO, and branding performance.
* Build the brand into a trusted leader in sports betting through quality, helpful, and expert content.
* Execute impactful SEO strategies adaptable to international markets and SERP changes.
* Use data to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and optimize traffic, engagement, and revenue.
* Coordinate with PR, Social, and Email teams to amplify brand presence consistently across channels.
* Partner with Product, Design, and CRO teams to improve user journeys and test new ideas for better conversion.
* Ensure all content upholds high editorial standards and Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines, emphasizing originality, insightfulness, and user focus.
* Formulate site monetization strategies, including promotional content and campaign planning with commercial teams.
* Manage, mentor, and expand a high-performing editorial, SEO, and content team.
* Shape the future of a major affiliate brand with strong foundations and global ambitions.

Requirements:
* Proven leadership in content or SEO roles within top affiliates, publishers, or betting brands.
* Strong brand-building skills with a track record of transforming content sites into trusted destinations.
* Demonstrated growth in organic traffic and conversions YoY.
* Deep understanding of Google's ecosystem, affiliate models, and effective content strategies.
* Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including commercial, creative, and tech.
* Knowledge of sports and betting audiences, from casual to high-intent players.
* Proficiency with analytics tools like GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc., and translating data into action.
* Leadership skills with a team-first, results-oriented approach.
* Strong communication and project management abilities.
* Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience & Education:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
* Over 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in gambling, betting, or gaming industries.
