Location
At Punch we embrace work-life balance with our four-day workweek, operating from Monday to Thursday, and a hybrid work model, allowing you to spend three days in the office and one day working from home.
Summary
You will be a strategic, insight-led and integrated Account Director with a broad understanding of integrated marketing campaigns. You'll drive the development and delivery of multi-channel strategies and campaigns across digital, brand, content, social, paid media, and comms, playing a key role in driving performance and growth for our clients.
You'll be a confident communicator and a proactive collaborator, able to balance the detail of day-to-day delivery with a strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign planning, and brand positioning. With an agile mindset and a passion for results, you'll thrive on working across functions, bringing campaigns to life from insight and ideas through to performance and reporting.
You'll bring clarity, pace, and an agile mindset to every brief, ensuring nothing gets missed and everything performs at its best.
Your ability to connect channels, audience behaviours, creative ideas, and performance metrics will make you a pivotal part of the team, bringing energy and positivity to every brief.
Finally, and critically, you'll be a relationship and trust builder – both in the agency and with clients - capable of operating strategically and confidently at C-Suite level, as well as supporting account and marketing team members with their day-to-day issues and challenges.
Position Purpose
Working across the agency helping to develop and deliver highly effective marketing campaigns that span digital, brand, content, PR, and marketing. You'll act as the conductor between the strategy, marketing, creative, and digital departments, and clients, ensuring ideas translate into results.
You'll do this through a deep understanding of a client's business strategy, brand, objectives and commercial ambitions, alongside a thorough understanding of marketing.
You'll prioritise profitably through a strong commercial understanding of the agency aligned with the value of the work we do for our clients.
Key objectives
* Be the 'trusted advisor' for your clients, building this trust by understanding and supporting them, their sector, their business and their goals and then, critically, helping them succeed by delivering results.
* Following on from the above, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction resulting in retention and growth across our client base.
* Manage all aspects of client communication and administration including onboarding, wips, timely communication, accurate estimating and billing, quarterly strategic reviews, monthly check-in calls, management of 3

party spend, and contract administration.
* Lead and support the agency team by making sure, in the first instance, that briefs are clear, concise, insightful and actionable; and then ensuring that everything that follows is on brief and aligned.
* Have a full and complete understanding of marketing communications, able to lead on client calls, projects, discussions, and queries.
* Support project and campaign rollouts across multiple departments and accounts, monitoring approach, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and reporting.
* Ensure profitability targets are set on met on clients.
* Lead by example in the agency with high levels of energy, resilience and positivity.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
·Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and alignment.
· Act as the voice of the client within the agency, championing their needs and expectations.
· Handle escalations, sensitive issues, or high-pressure situations with professionalism and urgency.
· Initiate regular check-ins, business reviews, and relationship-building efforts to maintain strong client ties.
Strategic Account Oversight
· Develop and oversee strategic plans for each key account, aligning agency output with client goals.
· Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
· Track client-specific KPIs and ensure agency performance aligns with those targets.
Leadership
· Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that promotes accountability and excellence.
Work Oversight and Delivery
· Ensure work is delivered on time and within scope.
· Monitor budgets to ensure profitability and flag potential overruns early.
· Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements in workflow or communication.
Client Onboarding, Retention and Growth
· Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless transition from pitch to project delivery.
· Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow high-value clients.
Marketing and New Business
· Represent the agency at industry events and thought leadership opportunities.
· A thorough understanding of marketing and comms, able to answer difficult questions, client queries, and suggest new channels and strategies to improve performance.
· Support the new business team in pitches and opportunities.
· Be a key member of Punch's marketing and PR strategy, contributing to our success.

What you can expect from Punch
· Salary circa £45-50k dependent on experience
