About The Role

Intercity Technology is seeking a motivated Customer Service Support for Mobile Service to join our team for a 12-month fixed term contract. Responsibilities include supporting customer accounts via phone and email, managing orders, resolving incidents, and handling billing investigations.
We value a fast-paced, professional environment with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences, reflected in our high CSAT (9.8) and NPS (+87.1) scores. Our hybrid working model requires a minimum of 3 days at our Birmingham HQ and 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop relationships with customers through support requests via phone and email.
* Manage customer orders, triage, and resolve incidents.
* Investigate escalations and improve customer satisfaction scores.
Requirements
* At least 5 GCSEs (C and above).
* Experience in customer support roles.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
* Experience managing escalations and objections, taking ownership of issues.
* Strong organizational and relationship skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in mobile or telecoms industry.
* Call centre experience.
* Support triaging mobile devices/network incidents.
* Billing query resolution experience.
Competencies
* Teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, influencing skills.
