We are now looking for a dynamic and driven Venue Sales Manager to join our team at Hamilton Park Racecourse – one of Scotland’s most exciting sporting and events destinations. As Venue Sales Manager at Hamilton Park Racecourse, you’ll have the opportunity to take full ownership of the sales strategy at a prestigious Scottish venue, working with a passionate, high-energy team where your ideas and drive will directly shape future success.
Job Responsibilities:
* Lead the sales strategy for Hamilton Park Racecourse, smashing annual C&E sales targets.
* Drive new business while nurturing existing accounts to maximise revenue and market share.
* Create and deliver innovative sales campaigns, from networking to fam trips and blitz days.
* Work closely with Operations and Events teams to ensure every client enjoys an exceptional experience that keeps them coming back.
* Use data, insights, and CRM systems (Salesforce) to keep your pipeline strong and reporting sharp.
* Inspire and support your on-site sales team, building a culture of engagement, motivation, and success.
Requirements:
* A proven sales professional with experience in hospitality, venues, events, or hotels.
* Someone with strong commercial acumen who thrives on hitting (and exceeding!) targets.
* A confident negotiator with excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Organised, results-driven, and a natural relationship builder.
* Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools would be a bonus.
* Knowledge of the Scottish hospitality/events market is desirable, but not essential.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000pa + excellent bonus and benefits package, flexible benefits fund of £1,300, and a 40-hour workweek with occasional evenings and weekends.
