Zafiro Homes is a design-led, luxury residential developer and contractor delivering premium homes across the Home Counties. With a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming developments, and a growing in-house contracting division, we are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our close-knit team. We are known for delivering exceptional quality and breaking records in the premium property space.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can take full ownership of the commercial process across multiple high-end residential projects. This is a hands-on role with no junior support, so you must be comfortable managing everything from procurement to final accounts independently.
You will play a vital role across both our own developments and client-based contracting projects, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance, and commercial efficiency at all stages.
Key Responsibilities
• Full QS responsibility across multiple luxury residential sites (typically 5,000–20,000+ sqft)
• Prepare and manage cost plans, procurement schedules, and subcontract packages
• Issue accurate payment certificates, manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Work closely with our Contracts Manager, Site Managers, and Buyer to ensure smooth project delivery
• Negotiate subcontractor terms and drive value across all procurement
• Administer JCT contracts from pre-construction through to completion
• Produce detailed monthly CVRs and commercial reports for the leadership team
• Support value engineering and, where possible, input into structural design and methodology
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably in high-end residential construction
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying; RICS Chartered (or working toward) preferred
• Structural or engineering qualifications are a strong advantage
• Capable of running multiple projects without junior support
• Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and project cashflow
• Detail-focused, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
• Based within commutable distance to Beaconsfield and willing to travel to sites across the Home Counties
