Farrow and Ball – Digital Business Analyst, Wimborne (37.5 hours per week) We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our IT team in Wimborne as a Digital Business Analyst. We are offering this position on a full-time basis, working hybrid between our head office in Wimborne, Dorset and home. As the BI Analyst this role will be responsible for operating within ERP (IFS Cloud), analytics (Power BI), ecommerce (Adobe Commerce), CRM, point‑of‑sale (Cegid), and wider Hempel systems and integrations. The role turns business objectives into clear requirements, supports project delivery, and drives continuous improvement while safeguarding day‑to‑day operations. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in a similar role and ideally within the retail industry. What we expect from you as a Digital Business Analyst Key Responsibilities: Project & Initiative Support – Work on multiple concurrent projects from discovery to post go live review, ensuring each delivers measurable business outcomes. Process & Systems Mapping – Document current and future state workflows; produce integration, data flow and API diagrams (BPMN, UML or equivalent). Requirements Management – Translate business problems into concise user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria for internal developers and third party vendors. Work Intake & Prioritisation – Partner with the Business Systems Lead, Business and Information Systems Manager and key stakeholders to triage change requests and BAU tickets, applying Risk Urgency Impact scoring to maintain focus on value and operational continuity. Stakeholder Liaison & Documentation – Facilitate workshops with Retail, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance and IT; capture decisions and maintain a single source of truth throughout delivery. Integration Consistency – Ensure new tools and platforms integrate cleanly into the tech stack, adhering to security, compliance and data quality standards. Testing & UAT Support – Define test scenarios, coordinate User Acceptance Testing, track defects and drive resolution before release. Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to streamline processes or remove system friction; validate and track improvements to completion. Agile Ceremonies & Reporting – Contribute to sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives; maintain boards, burn downs and status reports. Key Attributes: Analytical, inquisitive and structured in approach. Communicates clearly with both technical and non technical audiences. Collaborative and confident facilitating workshops or challenging assumptions. Demonstrates Farrow & Ball values: Pioneering, Extraordinary, True. Advanced process mapping and documentation ability (BPMN, UML or similar). Competent in Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira or Shortcut. Strong grasp of integration concepts (APIs, middleware, iPaaS) and data flow design. Proficient with MS Office and visualisation tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro). Comfortable interpreting data; Power BI exposure advantageous. Previous experience as a Business Analyst in digital, ecommerce, retail or ERP environments. Familiarity with one or more of: IFS ERP/CRM, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, Cegid POS, Adobe Commerce. Experience delivering multi system projects in an international or multi brand context is a plus.
