Job Description:
HSE Manager
This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that aims to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced several successful projects over the past two years to increase manufacturing capacity and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.
While this role is multi-site focused, it is crucial to emphasize that there is a significant responsibility not only for HSE oversight but also for hands-on management of all Health and Safety aspects.
The manufacturing environment's unique nature requires previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity. This experience should include developing consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.
As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for creating new documentation and processes for implementation.
The position is based remotely and not tied to a single facility. However, you will be expected to travel to each site approximately once per month. Flexibility to travel within the UK is essential. A car or car allowance will be provided as part of the benefits package.
Initially, in the first 6 months, you will need to spend 3 days on-site at one of the South-East facilities in Surrey to support immediate challenges.
For further information, please contact Mark Bux-Ryan.
Key Experience:
* Established HSE professional with hands-on experience
* Experience in radioactive settings (not necessarily pharmaceuticals)
* IRR17 experience and radiological risk assessment skills
* Practical approach with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
